BOX DESAL SWRO FAQ

Answers before project configuration.

01What is included in a BOX DESAL SWRO system?

The reference platform integrates feed pumping, multimedia filtration, chemical dosing, cartridge filtration, high-pressure SWRO, energy recovery where specified, CIP, instruments, Siemens control, interconnecting piping and cabling inside one or two 40-foot containers.

02What seawater quality is used for the reference design?

The current reference basis is seawater at 42,000–45,000 mg/L TDS, 40% nominal recovery and a 500 mg/L permeate TDS target. Final performance must be recalculated for the actual seawater analysis and temperature.

03Why do larger models use two containers?

From the 500 m³/day reference size upward, the pretreatment and SWRO process require a two-container arrangement to provide equipment access, ventilation, maintainability and safe internal routing.

04Is energy recovery included on every model?

The 100 m³/day reference configuration does not include an energy-recovery system. The 200–1,200 m³/day configurations include an energy-recovery section sized for the concentrate flow. Final brand and operating point are confirmed during engineering.

05Are the listed capacities guaranteed at every site?

No. These values define the reference equipment platform. Guaranteed output, recovery, permeate quality, power demand and chemical consumption are issued only after review of feed-water analysis, temperature, intake, utilities and product-water requirements.
