Privacy notice

1. Controller and contact

2. Data we receive

• Inquiries: name, email, and any company, telephone, country, destination, water analysis, project details or attachments that you choose to provide.
• Finder selection: application, water class, requested capacity, operating assumptions, selected model, language and the reference of a requested proposal where applicable. Until an electronic inquiry is submitted, the current Finder processes the selection in your browser.
• Orders: billing and delivery details, tax identifiers where applicable, correspondence, order status, invoices and payment information needed to process an order. We do not ask for payment card details through the Finder.
• Site operation: technical request data such as IP address, browser, timestamp and security logs may be processed by the website hosting provider to deliver and protect the service.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

• Responding to your inquiry, checking suitability, preparing and sending the information or proposal you requested, and taking steps toward a contract: GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
• Processing accepted orders, delivery, support, and related communications: Article 6(1)(b).
• Accounting, tax, invoicing and other applicable legal duties: Article 6(1)(c).
• Protecting the website, preventing abuse and maintaining necessary business correspondence: Article 6(1)(f), subject to an assessment of our legitimate interests and your rights.
• Sending occasional SEAMASTER product news, advice and offers by email, only if you actively select the separate optional newsletter box: Article 6(1)(a). You may withdraw that choice at any time by emailing prodaja@cwg.hr or using the unsubscribe method in each marketing email.

Requesting a product proposal does not subscribe you to a newsletter. Declining or withdrawing newsletter consent does not affect the requested proposal. This consent covers SEAMASTER content only, not other CWG brands.

4. What is required

The first product inquiry is designed to require only a name and email address. Other project details are optional at that stage. If you choose to order, we will need additional billing, destination and tax information to assess the final commercial and legal terms. Without the required contact data we cannot send the requested reply; without order details we cannot complete an order.

5. Recipients and transfers

Authorized CWG staff and service providers assisting with website hosting, email delivery, IT security, accounting and logistics may handle data only as needed for their tasks. We disclose order details to transport providers only when transport is arranged. We do not sell inquiry data. The exact transactional email provider will be identified here before automated email sending is activated. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we will assess the transfer mechanism and safeguards and provide the relevant information before using that provider.

6. How long we keep data

Inquiries that do not become orders are reviewed and deleted or anonymized no later than 24 months after the last substantive contact, unless a dispute, legal duty or a continuing relationship requires longer retention. Newsletter subscription records are kept while you remain subscribed and for a limited period afterward where needed to demonstrate your choice or honor an objection; marketing stops when you withdraw consent. Orders, invoices and records subject to legal retention are kept for the applicable statutory periods. Technical logs are retained under the hosting provider’s documented security schedule and reviewed when those arrangements change. 7. Cookies and similar technologies

We have not intentionally installed advertising or analytics cookies in the current SEAMASTER application. The Finder currently keeps its selections in the browser while you use it. We store your selected language in local browser storage and a first-party language preference cookie for up to one year so it stays consistent across pages. This is functional storage, not advertising or newsletter consent. Hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical storage or logs to provide and secure the site. Before any optional analytics, advertising or similar technologies are introduced, we will update this notice and provide the required choice before they are used. You can also manage storage through your browser settings.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent for any processing that relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions. Send requests to info@cwg.hr; we will respond within the GDPR time limits. You may lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr, or another competent supervisory authority.

9. Automated selection

The Finder suggests a preliminary catalog model using the choices you enter. It is not an automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects. A CWG representative reviews the project, tax treatment, transport, final technical suitability and any order before those terms are confirmed.

10. Security and updates

We apply access controls and appropriate technical and organizational measures proportionate to the data and service. No internet transmission is risk free. We may update this notice when the site, email service, data flows or legal requirements change; the effective date above will be revised. Material changes will be communicated where required.
