QUICK ANSWER03

Should I choose DESAL-SWRO PM or PM-C?

Choose DESAL-SWRO PM when the marine-oriented A, B or E configuration and capacities from 62.5 L/h are required. Choose DESAL-SWRO PM-C for a compact fixed-installation range from 125 to 1,250 L/h. The final selection depends on seawater analysis, operating hours and installation conditions.

SEAWATER DESALINATION FAQ

Answers before final selection.

01What is the difference between DESAL-SWRO PM and PM-C?

DESAL-SWRO PM covers A, B and E catalog configurations from 62.5 to 1,041.67 L/h and includes marine-oriented capacity options. DESAL-SWRO PM-C is the compact C configuration from 125 to 1,250 L/h for villas, hospitality and other fixed installations.

02Can the same model be used at every seawater salinity?

No. The catalog platform covers seawater duty up to 56,000 µS/cm, but final output and operating settings depend on actual conductivity, temperature, pressure and installation conditions. A current water analysis is required.

03How is the required hourly capacity calculated?

Divide the required daily product-water volume by realistic operating hours, then include an engineering reserve. The Finder performs this preliminary calculation and selects the smallest qualifying catalog capacity.

04What pretreatment is required before the SWRO system?

Pretreatment depends on the intake, turbidity or SDI, organic loading and scaling risk. Filtration, dosing and monitoring are defined during engineering to protect the high-pressure pump and membranes.

05Are catalog flow rates guaranteed?

Catalog capacities are used for preliminary comparison. Guaranteed production, recovery, product-water quality and energy requirements are confirmed only in the final approved technical proposal.
